Judicial Evaluations Due
Local attorneys are called upon to complete by April 21 a judicial evaluation primarily geared to coming elections.
The survey is anonymous and should take about 15 minutes to complete.
The survey is distributed in compliance with the By-Laws of the Bowling Green-Warren County Bar Association and concerns candidates running in the May 20 primary election as well as sitting judges not facing opposition this year.
The survey is split into three parts. The first part addresses evaluations for the five candidates running for Family Court Circuit Judge for the 8th Circuit, 3rd Division.
The second portion consists of evaluations of the three candidates running for Court of Appeals Judge for the 2nd District, 2nd Division.
The final part concerns sitting judges whose election is uncontested.
The survey is being conducted through the Western Kentucky University Social Science Research Center by Scott Lasley. If you have any questions concerning the survey, Lasley can be reached at scott.lasley@wku.edu.
There are no known risks to completing the survey. Refusal to participate in this study will have no effect on any future services you may be entitled to from the University. Anyone who agrees to participate in the survey is free to withdraw from the survey at any time with no penalty.
